After various raw materials are combined, they are pressed into shape, and then treated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere of 2500 ~ 3000 ° C to make it graphitized. After high temperature treatment, ash, sulfur, gas content are greatly reduced.
Due to the high price of artificial graphite products, the commonly used artificial graphite carburizer in the foundry is mostly recycled materials such as chips, waste electrodes and graphite blocks in the manufacture of graphite electrodes to reduce production costs.
When smelting ductile iron, in order to make the metallurgical quality of cast iron, the carburizer should be the first choice of artificial graphite.
